Enough with the rain already!!!
Here's an observation brought to you as TWT(This weeks Tip).
Number of training shoes you should probably have in your rotation:
0-40miles/wk=1pair
40-60miles/wk= 2pairs
60-80miles/wk =2-3pairs
80+miles/wk=3+pairs
Just remember 3 things...1. how miserable you are when you can't run 2. how cheap running is compared to other sports/passtimes 3. how much it sucks to put on wet shoes for your next run!
Keep on rolling! Train smart.
Another observation: chafing sucks.
ReplyDeleteI'll 2nd that after this mornings long run in the rain...chafing definitely sucks but the shower after is the kicker...aaaaaargh! Penaten Creme is the remedy, it's magic!
